Assists in accessing current resources throughout the health community to promote better health to families

The Renaissance Adolescent Health Partnership is consortium of community health and human services, agencies, academic and religious institutions, government agencies, private sector, and residents of the Renaissance 2000 community who have organized to promote adolescent health and well being in the target service area. We seek to:

-Identify and address the unmet health needs of adolescents  and their families

-Implement programs and workshops that reduce harmful  adolescent risk-taking behaviors associated with violence,  unintended teen pregnancies, substance abuse and poor  health

-Improve available access into, and utilization of, coordinated  adolescent referral services

-Provide health and referral services related to crisis  intervention, counseling, and/or basic assistance
