The Center for Learning About SuccesS (CLASS) was introduced as a program of the First Baptist Community Development Corp. (FBCDC) in 1999. Since its inception, CLASS has served over 1,000 individuals through technology summits, institutes, computer training and computers made available for public use.

Objective

The objective of CLASS is to bridge the digital divide by continuously improving access, quality and diversity of hardware and software available in the Renaissance Community.

The goals of CLASS are as follows.

• To increase local access to technology
• To enhance academic performance by children in our community
• To continue to extend the use of technology in the business community
• To upgrade available technology access for the community
